The question to ask is "how did this happen?" </span><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">Some will claim it is the contemporary church movement, others will say it is the liberalization of the church, and I am sure a small group will say it is because we stopped using the King James Version. The church inevitably will point it's fingers everywhere instead of looking in the mirror to see the TRUTH in the matter. </span><br /></p><p align="justify"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">The TRUTH... We, the Church, have been laxed by allowing cushy feel good social messages to infiltrate the preaching of truth. We, the Church, are a bunch of hypocrites who refuse to live the truth. We, the Church, have forfeited moral absolutes and absolute truth for relative thinking. We, the Church, have allowed error to creep in our midst and have based our faith on feelings and experience rather than Scripture. We, the Church, love the world and their opinion more than God and TRUTH!</span><br /><br /></p><p align="justify"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;">So what is the Church to do? First, REPENT! Second, PRAY! and then listen to what Paul tells Timothy...</span><br /></p><p align="justify"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;"><em>(2 Timothy 4:1-5 CEV) When Christ Jesus comes as king, He will be the judge of everyone, whether they are living or dead. So with God and Christ as witnesses, I command you (2) to <strong>preach God's message</strong>. Do it willingly, <strong>even if it isn't the popular thing to do</strong>. You must <strong>correct people and point out their sins</strong>. But also <strong>cheer them up, and when you instruct them</strong>, <strong>always be patient</strong>. (3) The time is coming (IT IS HERE) when people won't listen to good teaching. Instead, they will look for teachers who will please them by telling them only what they are itching to hear. (4) They will turn from the truth and eagerly listen to senseless stories.
